This clock is pictured in African Padauk, a West African timber used for Marimbas, Xylophones and guitar cases. The acoustic quality of this timber is therefore ideal for a mechanical chiming clock. Its elegance can be attributed to its tall slim scaled dimensions. Like Simonsberg, it features a swan neck and two columns that adorn the sides of the Arabic numeral moon dial, the only difference being that Ben Nevis is taller. The movement is an 8-day Hermle movement that plays the Westminster melody.
