This clock is pictured in Blackwood, a timber grown by Nature Conservation in the Tsitsikamma forest. The swan neck crown is balanced by the two full rounded columns of the hood and another two on either side of the body of the clock. The Luxus dial features the four cornices with raised borders surrounding the filigree netting, which is repeated in the center of the dial. The brass aluminium roman numerals are laid onto a brass aluminium dial ring, making for an understated luxurious dial. The Hermle cable movement plays the Westminster, Whittington, and St Michael melodies, and has an automatic night silencer option.
*NOTE: Pictured with the Hermle 9 Tubular movement but described and priced with the Hermle Triple chime movement. The two movements are both cable driven with the same dial and similar in function - both Triple chime with automatic night shut-off function. Difference: The 9 Tubular strikes its melodies and hours on 9 Tubular bells/pipes which requires an entirely more complicated movement with a horizontal barrel and 9 back striking hammers, designed and manufactured in small quantities specifically for this clock only. Priced as pictured with Hermle 9 Tubular: R79, 000.00 VAT Incl. These two options are available on the Kammanassieberg and Elandsberg.
